ER Construction was established in 2007.

As a very young company we realised that we have to compete with already established heavy- weights in the building and construction industry. So our recipe for success was to bring projects to the highest possible standard. We design the places where people live & work. Family patterns, technology & property ownership trends are changing; work/living relationships are being transformed. We re-interpret these new habitation scenarios to make places as appealing, productive & healthy as possible. We are convinced that architecture has a decisive influence on people’s motivation, performance and health.

Behind ER Construction is company director, Rod – Radenko Erkic, born on 25th January 1965 in former Yugoslavia. He finished Technical College for Architecture in 1983 in his birth place of Tuzla and gained diploma for Architectural Drafting and Design. Soon after arrival to Australia in 1993, Rod has completed additional courses for AutoCAD at the Dandenong TAFE in 1994. After 14 years of experience in construction industry in Australia , both commercial and domestic and working on all major projects including Crown Casino, Chadstone Shopping Town, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Southern Cross Station, Bay St. Apartments, Brighton, he decided to go with his own company. Since then company committed to bring new, modern, contemporary approach to design and building. Also ER Construction is accredited Master Builders Association- Green Living Builder and we implement sustainable work practices on all our projects.

ER Construction is an accredited Master Builders Association- Green Living Builder and we implement sustainable work practices on all our projects. That is why ER Construction puts accent on three basic principles:

Design = Collaboration
Design is a collaborative approach. Design does not just mean giving things a shape, it creates the basis that enables things to function in the desired manner. It is a process in which complementary but often mutually contradictory requirements like comfort, technology, economics, aesthetics… have to be met. Design can be successful only when the balance of all these factors is attained.

Aesthetics = Clarity
We do not use a predetermined style. We believe that by the honest use of construction & the efficient analysis of the functional requirements, the building should express clarity & meaning that is comprehensible beyond the architectural community.

Economy = Ecology
We believe our most important contribution to the environment is the production of durable & timeless architecture. By creating efficient, flexible & re-usable spaces, taking into account the life-cycle of the building & its running costs, buildings can provide years of service. Quality does not reside exclusively with materials, but in the use of appropriate solutions.

Our Services

ER Construction is a construction company that takes special care with each project from the very beginning to the final stage. To our clients we offer the choice of our standard “Builder Range Inclusions” products that complies with Australian Standards, or their own choice of products. The final decision is made with a Project Specification List signed by both parties, which is part of the Building Contract. We are confident of running up to 100 projects annually.
